Thinking of Starting Your Own Business?

I have been thinking about starting my own business for the last several years, yet the one thing that has kept me from doing it is that I have no clue as to what paperwork, etc.. I need to have for everything to be legal. I have just come across a website that takes care of it for you. They can help you start your business whether it is a Texas Corporation, Florida LLC, or any other state in the United States.

For as little as $45 per month, they will help you with your paperwork, and even give you access to a virtual office and conference room. If you are wanting to start your own business, and do not know much about all the paperwork, you should definately check it out!

Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk

The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is needing team captains now. The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is an event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research, and is the largest event of it's kind. Becoming a team captain can be a very fulfilling experience. Not only are you getting some exercise, you are also walking with a purpose, and a very good purpose, to support Alzheimer's research.

The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is held in over 600 neighborhoods across the United States, and is usually about 2-3 miles long. The Memory walks are normally held in the Fall on a weekend, so you can be sure to be there.

Fighting Alzheimer's is important to me, because I have seen so many of my elders getting the disease. It is so hard to hear about a parent forgetting who their kids are, or even something as simple as going to the bathroom. My stepfather's mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a couple of years ago, and it is unbelievable how quickly the disease took hold on her. You never know if you will be in the same position as my stepfather is in today. It hurts him tremendously that his own mother cannot remember who is is at times. Though he knows there is nothing he can do to help her, the pain is still there.

What's Happening With Me

Ok....I am kind of freaking out, because I just got hired for a job that actually coincides with my 2 college degrees, and I haven't worked for an employer for over a year....I have a baby, and a first grader, and I hate to leave them to go to work, but to be honest, I do not LOVE to be at home....I get depressed being here constantly, and feel like I live my life through my husband sometimes.

So, I have landed a decent job, so I can only go up from here......WOOT!

Posts

So far, pay per post keeps turning me down...say i need my own posts, and not articles that I have actually written(most of them), which I do not understand.....I guess I should put the whole article on here instead of placing like th first paragraph, and then a link to read the whole article. I do this so that I get exposure to MY writing, and my publications.

Internet Marketing - Things I am learning

Ok...so I have not been Internet Marketing for very long, almost a year, but I learn new things on a daily basis.....

Here I am wasting hours of time submitting my sites to hundreds of search engines....ok, it might help a little, but not enough to waste all that time...I actually paid a service to submit one site of mine into 300 search engines (which about half of them I was already in), and I still haven't seen ANY results.....so I consulted with a pretty darn good Internet Marketer I know, who knows all the Internet Marketing greats...or at least several of them on a personal basis....

He said that basically if you have your sites submitted to "the big important search engines, like Google" all of the good search engines that matter will eventually crawl your site as well....which makes sense...

So I am no longer going to spend hours submitting my sites when the spiders will find them(the ones that matter anyhow!)

Tricks For Finding The Right Keywords

Tricks For Finding The Right Keywords by Jeff Alderson

Coming up with ideas for the best keywords to use on a website can be a difficult process for many to grasp. If a little common sense comes into play and some basic rules of the road are followed, the effort doesn't have to be insurmountable.

Researching keywords prior to creating a lot of content for a website is an absolute must if optimization is desired though. Although it's possible to insert keywords after the fact, it can be a royal pain in the neck that results in stilted copy.

As you go about the process of picking the right keywords, there are several things to consider. The first thing to remember is that different people use search engines in different ways. The key here is to consider the many ways of saying the same thing. How a person searches can be impacted by gender, age, country of origin, profession and so on. What terms come to mind for the exact same product or service can vary greatly depending on the person in question.

When looking at keywords, remember they do need to relate to your individual site. Pulling people in with keywords that are not relevant is dishonest and it also results in "unqualified" hits. If you're selling something or you happen to have ads on your site, you really need to pull in visitors that are interested in your topic. Should you keyword load with irrelevant terms, you'll turn visitors off, could lose sales and might even lose ads.

As you start the process, the first thing to do is pick up a pen and piece of paper. Brainstorm every word and phrase you can conjure that web surfers might use to visit pages that relate to your topic. Ask others for their ideas, too, especially if friends, family or co-workers happen to fall into your target demographics.

With a keyword list ready to go, it's wise to now visit the Internet to refine it. You can use search engine databases to see what words others use to find sites similar to yours. Overture and Google both have keyword tools, and software like Ad Word Analyzer can save you a ton of time on keyword research. All of these tools can assist you in seeing how many similar sites come up on searches when your keywords and phrases are plugged in.

With this done, employ a little common sense to the revised list. Consider your desired audience and think about the terms they would really use to find your site. Keep in mind that conversational language is much more likely than marketing terminology in searches. Think basic, short phrases that sum up what you do or offer. Focus in on these terms.

Even with a well-researched list, it is important to remember optimization is an ongoing process. It is very likely you'll revise your keywords from time to time. Don't fret if it doesn't go right the first time out.

With a tentative list in hand, it's time to create copy that's relevant, keyword rich and actually useful. Steer clear of keyword stuffing and only use as much content as is necessary. Make sure keywords appear in headlines, but don't worry about going overboard with them on every single line. Copy that's clear, concise and relevant tends to pull in more traffic.

Coming up with the right keywords to optimize a site can be a tough undertaking. View it as an ongoing process and don't be afraid to tweak the effort as you go.

Internet Marketing Classes and Certified Exams

Internet Marketing Classes and Certified Exams by Carsten Cumbrowski

At the early days of search was SEO and pay per click advertising something for geeks who learned the stuff by experimenting with it and learned from their successes and failures while simply doing it. How to rank in search engines and how to write a compelling Ad within three short lines and research keywords is not exactly the things that are taught at the universities. There were no bachelors or masters' degree in search marketing or something like that.

Hireling somebody with experience and proven knowledge about search to do your in-house search marketing was impossible. There was no way of telling if the person actually knew the business or not at all. You had to trust their word and then, down the road, check if they delivered on their promises or not.

Forming and molding new graduates from the college to search marketers in-house by letting them play around with the subject matter (for a low cost) for a while and eventually grow them to experts internally, was in most cases the best choice. The former graduates and newbie's became experienced marketers with the time and made it hard for companies to be able to keep them. They learned quickly what their work and experience was worth. Those People did often quit their job at the company where they learned the business to work for a specialized search-marketing firm or to start their own business.

Independent training and certification did not exist.

Changing Landscape

The landscape regarding education and certification changed dramatically since the middle of 2006. Before 2006 did virtually no or only a few training curriculums to internet marketing, especially to the fast growing subject of search engine marketing and optimization exist, at least none, which resulted in an industry wide accepted form of certification that could be used by the students who successfully completed the training to use with confidence for a job application.

Combined industry efforts and the shortage of skilled internet marketing professionals created a boom in new services, which offer new training courses and seminars including certification to various internet-marketing subjects. Not all certifications are accepted or acknowledged across the industry, but most of them offer at least a similar level of education, which makes 3rd party certifications almost in all cases just as good as an "official" one.

Broad Selection of Services

The offers vary in price, amount of transferred knowledge and distribution method. Self-learning courses in printed and electronic format online are as available as hands on training classes in real classrooms with real teachers and interaction with other students. In addition, the combination of virtual training online combined with interaction with real teachers and other students is in some cases an option.

Companies can now send their employees who might have a major in marketing and advertising or computer engineering to a paid training and know when they come back and passed the exam and got their certification that they do know at least the basics of the job they are supposed to do.

Graduates Are in High Demand

The demand for graduates from the new available colleges, training programs and online classes is high and successful alumni in subjects like SEM/PPC or SEO can often choose from more than one job offer available to them. Classes are usually very affordable ranging between a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.

Finding Job Openings

If you are looking for a job in the search marketing industry, or if you are a personnel manager and looking for SEM professionals to hire, you might want to have a look at the niche job search site JobsInSearch.com, which specializes in search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing jobs and careers. There are also the large and generic career opportunities portals and sites where you can look for job openings in search engine optimization, pay-per-click and internet marketing in general.

Conclusion

Times are certainly changing and the realm of the one-geek shows is slowly ending. The industry matures at last.

Carsten Cumbrowski is an internet marketer for over six years. He made some of his experience available at his internet marketing resources site at Cumbrowski.com. You can find there additional information to the subject of training and certification in internet marketing.

Building An Email List Of 1 Million Subscribers by Willie Crawford

Back in December 2002, I attended my very first Internet marketing seminar. That seminar was sponsored by Dr. Bob Silber, and I attended because Dr. Silber invited me to be a speaker. Rumors had spread of how well I was doing in "Internet marketing" with a lead product of "a soul food cookbook" - of all things.

My presentation was on niche marketing, and was very well-received. That seminar also opened my eyes to how willing other marketers are to share their experience and knowledge with you... if you let them.

At that seminar Jonathan Mizel, Frank Garon, Fred Gleeck, Armand Morin, Marty Foley, Ramon Williamson, Bob Silber, and several others gave me so many ideas that I though my head would explode. Many of the tips that they gave me are still very applicable today, and add substantially to my bottom-line. One tip pertaining to having the perfect backend in place will make me a small fortune this year.

When I first released my cookbook, I struggled with the perfect backend product for cookbook buyers. Now, I know that the perfect backend product is… other cookbooks! So, the backend system for that website that I shared back in 2003 is now an endless procession of incredible cookbooks. The latest one that I've added to my line-up is a cookbook by the private cook of the late Alex Haley. This guy is such a great cook that Alex insisted he do the cooking when he had such distinguished guest over as Oprah Winfrey, Sidney Poitier, Governor Lamar Alexander, and countless other politicians, celebrities, and friends.

That ONE tip, picked up at my first seminar, lead me to eventually adding Dave Frank's "Foods Of The Southland" cookbook to my line-up, and I hope to move hundreds of thousands of copies of that cookbook eventually. Incidentally, you can grab a copy of that cookbook today at: http://Chitterlings.com/southland/

After that first seminar was over, I sat around in the hotel lobby talking to fellow speaker Ramon Williamson, who would eventually become a mentor. As Ramon and I talked, one of the seminar attendees, whom I didn't know, walked up to us. Ramon recognized this guest and invited both of us up to his suite for a late-night brainstorming session.

That guest was John Reese, whose marketing genius I would really grow to appreciate. John Reese, you may remember really sprang on the scene when his "Traffic Secrets" course sold over $1 million worth of product in 18 hours.

Ramon, John and I talked until 4am. They did most of the talking as I sat in awe at their LEVEL of thinking. John mentioned that one of his long-term goals was to build a mailing list of over 1 million subscribers. I couldn't see that as even being possible!

John explained that when you're having trouble paying your rent, it's difficult to imagine earning $100,000 per year. However, to the person making $100k, it's easy to "see" making $200k. To the person making $500k, it's easy to imagine $1 million. As I reflected upon the truth in what John was saying I underwent a radical shift in my thinking right there... that night... in that hotel room.

That was December 2002. By April 2003 I was in the midst of hosting my very own Internet marketing seminar. That was four months from attending my very first, to hosting a live seminar!

I detail a lot of the transformation that occurred in my thinking and in my habits in my biography, "Git Off The Porch." I wrote that book in response to a challenge issued by Ramon. The challenge was to go from idea to a print book in three months or less. I did it, and you'll find that book at: http://gitofftheporch.com/

Today, I sit writing this article... on the beach in beautiful Navarre, Florida. I often go to the beach and sit in a shaded pavilion and work. I can do that since all I really need is my trusty laptop, and my Verizon Wireless Card. With that card plugged into my laptop, I can actually surf the internet or answer email from anywhere that I'm within range of a cell phone tower. I've even done it while driving down the interstate... my wife was actually driving. To me, that proves that so many things that many people consider only "dreams" are possible!

As I write and reflect upon the possibilities, I thought I'd share with you one of my goals. That goal is the same one that John Reese shared back in December 2002. I have a plan for building an email database of over 1 million subscribers. I'm doing it in phases, and will actually have several niche lists or sub-lists. When broken down as I have it mapped out, it's no longer such a major challenge!

My short-term goal is to add 100,000 new subscribers to my list by December 31st, 2007. Actually that's 100,000 new subscribers more than I would get from what I was doing before I implemented my master plan.

Building this relatively large list will involve using a number of techniques... some very simple, and others somewhat innovative. One of the simplest ones I've actually already shared with the world in a special report that I wrote called, "How I Boosted My Ezine Sign-Up Rate By 5200 MORE Subscribers Per Month - Virtually Overnight - And You Can Too!"

That short special report is at: http://www.therealsecrets.com/5200/

The reason that I can, and will, build a list of over 1 million subscribers is largely because I give myself permission to do so. The transformation in thinking brought on by the conversation with John and Ramon back in 2002 now allows me to see that anything is possible. Knowing that it is possible ends the procrastination in getting started on a task. Knowing what is possible if you just put in the proper effort also completely cures you of "excusitis."

You may even wonder if a goal of 1 million subscribers is worth pursuing. In the niches that I operate in, I earn an average of between $1 and $3 per month for every subscriber on my lists. So, for me, YES, it's a very worthwhile goal :-)

NO - money isn't everything, but it does enable you to accomplish many bigger goals. My ultimate goals actually center around helping more people reach their dreams, but that's a topic for another time. I'll close by issuing a challenge. Identify one of your goals today, and use your magnificently powerful brain to figure out HOW to reach it! It doesn't have to be building a huge list. However, many of the people that I deal with regularly use the excuse of, "I have no list" as a reason for not being able to grow their businesses faster. Many of them have been using that same excuse for 3-5 years. I contend that it's time that they stop!

What do you think?

Must Know Article Marketing Tips!

Submitted by: Daniel

The importance of articles in todays websites and internet based companies are immeasurable. They dictate a lot in the success and the drive of traffic into one's site. It has become a key element in making a site work and earns a profit. A website operator and owner must have the good sense to include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site.

Articles have been known to be the driving force in driving traffic to a website. Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings in search result pages. The higher a site ranks the bigger slice of the traffic flow pie he gets. With a huge number in traffic flow, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well.

But, it is not just about stuffing your site with articles; they have certain requirements as well. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site. A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others.

Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site.

Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want.

The Important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able t have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools in the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. You can use this tool to determine what keywords to use and write about.

Keyword Density

Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to feel its presence. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site.

Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as overeager. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

Good Article Content

Like what is stated above, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out.

People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you. They will be able to trust you and your products.

Linking Articles

And another important thing to remember. If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, don't ever forget to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

Article Marketing On Steroids

Submitted by: Saleem

If you've been dabbling in internet marketing for a good period of time now, then you know how important article marketing can be for your online campaigns. Article marketing can provide you with a lot of back links that could help build your link popularity so that you may secure a good position in the search engine results pages (SERPs). Additionally, since you will be submitting your articles to article directories, it would critical to know that some of these directories have high page ranks. Having your link appear in the pages of websites with high PR would only contribute a substantial boost to your own website's page rank.

It is critical, therefore, to learn about the subtleties involved with article marketing so that you will be able to optimize your usage of this technique.

Now, you have most probably read about article marketing before, in numerous resources at that. This article isn't about an introduction to article marketing. This article assumes that you already know the basics. In the following paragraphs, we will focus on the things that people do not know about the aforementioned strategy, as well as some tips to help you out when it comes to making the most out of this tactic.

Let's proceed.

1. Though it is tempting to submit two or more articles to the article directories in the World Wide Web, it is strongly recommended that you try to avoid doing the same in rapid succession. The search engines, and Google in particular, are quite sensitive about abnormal increases in a website's link popularity. By submitting many articles at the same time, you could potentially gain 3,000 or so back links for your website. In theory, this is excellent. But since this will be accomplished quite fast, the search engines might categorize it as an abnormal increase, and they may momentarily de-index your website pending further study into the matter. You wouldn't want this to happen. So you better play it safe. Try to submit articles every two weeks or so to avoid this danger.

2. It isn't wise to submit an article that is already included in your own website. As a policy against dupe content, search engines would consider the higher ranking website as the originator of the article. Hence, your website, having a lower rank, might be designated as harboring duplicate content. This will not bid well for your page rank.

3. Whenever you're writing articles, remember that most article directories would allow you to use hyperlinks. The trick is in hyperlinking your website to what we call as anchor texts. These anchor texts should pertain to the keywords you are targeting. Doing this would give a significant boost to your chances of getting a better position in the SERPs. For example, if the keyword you're targeting is 'mesothelioma,' make sure that you will hyperlink your website to every mention of the term in your article.

4. Do not submit PLR articles as they are. Though PLR articles are great options for affordable content, they are not really meant for article marketing purposes. Duplicate articles submitted to the directories would just be rejected, or worse, can lead to the banning of your account. Instead, try to use the PLR articles as bases for the articles you will write for these directories. The information is already in these PLR articles, after all, hence you won't need to spend time doing some necessary research. Write one, original article from the ground up, using your PLR articles as the foundation, and submit the same to the directories.

5. Remember, people will be reading your articles. These are highly targeted folks. They will read your article because they are looking for information relevant to the subject of your work. If you could provide this information clearly, succinctly, and efficiently, they'll regard you as an expert on the matter and they will grow to trust whatever you will put out. Hence, it is important to submit the best quality article you could come up with, as your online business' credibility is on the line.

Article Directory - How to Use An Article Directory to Boost Your Income

Submitted by: Richard

All is well and you have a profitable online business selling marshmallows.

One fine morning you find that your customer base has eroded over the past month or so. What could be the reason? Obviously, people have not stopped eating marshmallows. Instead, the possible reason could be someone else from the competition is making a dent into your market.

Well, the difference? This competitor either ranks better with Google and other search engines, or he gets more foot-fall on his site through more links than you have.

Well, what is the secret? The secret to better search engine ranking is more keyword density or more back links. The competitor suddenly has not done anything to get these amazing results.

He has been doing it for some time now, only you have realized it now. In all probability, he has been writing or getting written, keyword rich articles for his website and submitting them to article directories. People and affiliate sites selling marshmallows have been devouring these articles as free content along with the competitor's resource box and flocking to his online store instead of yours.

In short, the article directories and submissions have given him more exposure and better status in the marshmallow industry than you. Well, you have been caught napping.

Internet marketing is an ever changing scenario and being caught napping is not a good practice. Articles and submission to article directories have been proven to bring results both ways, to the writers and the readers. The writers, by enhancing their expert stature and bring more links to their site and the users by giving them fresh content regularly on a periodic basis and thus attracting more and more traffic by the day, new and revisits, both.

It is not necessary that you write articles to retain customers. You can always get them written or source them from various sources on the internet. You can get them tailored to your needs and just submit them to article directories. Do not expect overnight results, but results over a short period of time are sure to show.

Ask any webmaster that you might know, he will be in a better position to explain the process of search engine optimization by the use of articles.

Use article directories, by submitting or sourcing your content from there. You are not far from the success.

You may come across sites that offer free content on the internet. These are directories that have articles written by experts in various fields. They are normally classified and offer good quality content. You can use the content from article directories on your website, but keeping them intact along with the resource box that may have a link to the site of the author. The only hitch is that you are having some other expert's article on your site with a link that may drive your customers to them.

Using the article directory, the other way round is more profitable. You should submit batches of articles in your field of expertise on these directories and let customers come to you through others websites that may use your articles for content.

Using article directories either way, is always profitable depending on your field of expertise and business plan.

How to Sell Effectively on eBay - Top 10 Tips

How to Sell Effectively on eBay - Top 10 Tips

How to Sell Effectively on eBay - Top 10 Tips by William King

Online auction is scorching the virtual world. More and more people are finding the virtual world a convenient way to sell as well as purchase goods. Many of them use online auction sites such as eBay to get their product’s worth.

Auction sites such as eBay also house a myriad of products and it is very easy for one’s product to get lost in the crowd. One can follow certain tips that will aid in effective selling

1) Familiarize yourself with the site: It is important to familiarize yourself with the site. You can just navigate within the site to get a feel of it. Visit the site’s help section. They have a special space dedicated to sellers- http://pages.eBay.in/help/sell/index.html. This will not only give you the confidence to go ahead but will also make you aware of the pitfalls and the dangers as well as the things you are supposed to do and things you are supposed to avoid.

2) Pay attention to the appearance: Appearance matters. Imagine yourself in the shoes of the buyer. This will give you a better idea of how things should be done. The appearance of the text should be neat. Select fonts that are normally seen on a website. Try not to select fancy fonts. Try to highlight important matters and points in a tasteful manner. Remember the appearance can make or break your sale. No one would buy an item that is presented in a shabby manner. An untidy appearance also creates a negative impression of the seller.

3) Title: eBay requires the seller to give a title and a short description of the product. Be sure that the language used is simple and free from grammatical mistakes. One should bear in mind that eBay attracts all kinds of visitors. Hence the description should be such that it is understandable to everybody. Similarly, the title should be short, yet informative. A reader should be able to make out about the item after reading the title.

4) Picture: ‘Picture speaks a thousand words’ is an oft-repeated phrase. Be sure to include a descriptive picture. A picture lets the prospective buyer to get a feel of the product. The buyer gets a good idea about the item that is being offered for sale. Imagine a wall unit being offered for sale, but there is no picture of it. Will you prefer buying it? Most of us will say ‘No!’ Remember to get a nice picture of the item that you wish to get listed on eBay. The picture should be clean, focused and taken in lighted conditions. Hazy, unfocussed and dimly lit pictures are a strict no.

5) Show it, don’t tell: If you are selling used items; make sure that you give a good description about the condition of the product. Do not use ambiguous sentences such as ‘almost new’, ‘a bit damaged’ etc. If it is damaged a bit, then tell it in concrete sentences. For e.g., scratches on the rear part, scrapped from the left corner etc. This will give the prospective buyer an idea of the extent of the damage. It will also increase his confidence in you and will help you to sell the product more effectively.

6) Be clear about the accessories: If the product you are selling comes with certain accessories, make sure that you mention whether you are offering the accessories or not. Do not keep the buyer in the dark. Doing so will give a bad name to you. For e.g., if a certain mobile phone offers accessory like head set when purchased from a seller, and if you are selling the same model as a second – hand, be sure to mention whether or not you are offering the head set. This is a great way to arouse buyer confidence that will go a long way in selling the product. Furthermore if the product you are selling does not include accessories, then try to add some to it. People are always willing to pay a bit more for added value. For e.g. if you are selling a chess board then adding a chess board stand can dramatically increase your profits and chances of selling. Its all about staying ahead of your competition and this technique alone can really help you to beat all the competition out there.

7) Be specific: Include details such as guarantee policy, return and exchange policy, shipping details, in straight and clear terms. The prospective buyer should not have any confusion. Remember that eBay has a system wherein buyers leave a feedback. A positive feedback will help you to sell other products effectively on eBay.

8) Time the listings: eBay requires the sellers to list the timings for the opening and the closing of the bid. One must be careful of the timing of the listings. It is no use if you time the listings such that the target market is not awake. For e.g. if you the target buyers for your product are located in USA, one must time in such a way that the maximum number of Americans are on the Internet during that time. Also remember, most of the bids are placed on the last day and more importantly at the last hour. Keep this factor in mind before deciding upon the timings or else you will lose out on good or high bidders. There have been many studies and a lot of research has been done in determining the best timings for your listing. Whatever you decide just make sure that you end up your listing during busy hour which normally is between 7:00pm to 11:00pm

9) Flexibility in receiving payment: Make sure that you have specified your preferable mode of receiving the payment. eBay offers a lot of options. Be flexible. If you keep on insisting on PayPal, you might lose a highest bidder who can make payment only through a check or money order. Keeping your options open will certainly help you maximize your profits.

10) Be agile: Be quick and agile while delivering the goods. Since the buyers can leave a feedback, a laxity shown by you in the final stages can hurt your credibility and might force the buyer to give a negative feedback. Also pack the item carefully. Nobody is going to accept a damaged product. It will be a waste of the buyer’s as well as your time and efforts. Do remember that someone who has purchased from you in the past and had a great buying experience is more than likely to purchase from you again, therefore providing a timely delivery and a well packaged product would most definitely result in many repetitive customers.

These are some of the main points you should keep in mind if you have to carry out a successful sale on eBay and maximize your profits.

Can You Build a List of 5,000 Subscribers this Year? Now You Can

by Murtuza Abbas

Here's a simple system that you can use to build a list of atleast 5,000 subscribers from scratch using a simple but extremely powerful formula.

I am sure that this simple system will work for you because I have personally done it with extreme success.

You might have heard about this system elsewhere but I would insist you to read this article completely, take down notes and take serious action starting today.

Here YOU Go...

Step 1 - Create a Killer FREE GIft worth $97.

Create a teaser version of your product and give it to your website visitors absolutely free.

You can do this by removing 5% out of your product and creating a digital info product that you can easily distribute to thousands of subscribers at no cost, automatically.

You can create a FREE...

1. Report.
2. Mini-eBook.
3. Video.
4. Audio.
5. 10 Days eCourse.
6. Step by step tutorial.

Make sure that your package is of extreme quality or else you will spoil your reputation before even placing your product in front of your visitors eyes.

Make sure you combine your free gifts into a powerful package.

Here's how I did it. I created a killer package for my subscribers that contained...

1. A free video that showed them how to make a money making website in 4 simple steps.

2. A killer report that showed them how to create a powerful minisite in under 3 hours.

3. 11 days ecourse that showed them step by step how I start and promote my internet business.

4. Weekly newsletter with tips, tactics and articles that I write in internet business niche.

Once I had all these gifts ready, I combined them into a killer package and named it as...

Grab Murtuza Abbas's FREE 'Profit Pulling Minisites Pack' worth $97.

Give a price tag to your free package and tell your subscribers that they will get this package absolutely free if they signup in your list.

Create a killer box cover to demonstrate the entire package and individual graphics to demonstrate the individual gifts.

Create a squeeze page and include all these graphics out there. Include stong benefits that will pull the visitors in your follow up system like honey bees to grab your package.

Step 2 - Create a Killer Autoresponder System.

Make sure you create a killer autoresponder system and include all your packages out there in your instant email.

Fire your ecourse with every email going out with an interval of around 2 to 3 days each.

Make sure you also promote your package in your free gifts to drive sales from your subscribers.

There is a neat feature in most of the autoresponders where you can redirect your visitor to a specific page once they signup in your list.

You can either...

1. Present a one time discount offer for your product on this redirect page OR

2. Just forward them to your product salesletter.

One time offers work extremely well.

Step 3 - Promote Your Squeeze Page.

There are tons of ways you can use to promote your squeeze page. Here I will show you the fastest way to get traffic to your squeeze page and see results instantly...

1. Articles - Write and submit quality articles relating to your free package in article directories like ezinearticles.com and many others.

You can place a resource box right below your articles that will help you to direct visitors to your squeeze page.

Once you do this you will see instant traffic pouring into your website within 24 hours.

2. Discussion Forums - Hunt for quality forums in your niche and answer questions out there. You can place a signature that contains your ad if you make a good post.

This signature will include a FREE offer that will attract visitors to your squeeze page.

3. Co-Reg Services - You can signup with a co-reg service like leadfactory.com that will help you in building your subscriber base.

They will charge you 50 cents to 1 dollar for just 1 lead, therefore you have to track your product sales conversion ratio thoroughly before applying this tactic.

4. You can also use other paid traffic tactics like 'Google Adwords', pay per click search engines, ezine ads, etc to drive traffic to your squeeze page.

Just apply the above 3 steps and I am sure you will increase your subscriber base to few thousand subscribers this year.

Make sure you take action and get started today.

The Easiest Way To Create Articles - Public Domain!

Submitted by: joseph

There are many webmasters that find writing articles for their site to be a very tedious task. Many people who need to write articles also procrastinate as much as they can to delay the amount of writing they need to do. Many people dread writing articles because they find researching for the topic and writing down original materials will be too taxing on them.

You need to have your creative juices flowing and simply downloading an article would be plagiarism or tantamount to stealing, not exactly. Have you ever heard about public domain? These are articles written down by many authors that have declared their works to be public domain, which means anybody can use it for whatever purpose they want.

While most authors would prefer to copyright their work for their rights, there are also a number who doesn't mind sharing their work. Public domain articles are not owned by anybody and can be used and abused by anyone. The writers have waived their rights to their works and it is out there for the public to make use of.

You can use public domain articles in helping you write your articles. With the public domain articles you can simply edit them to your own style and rewrite them as you please to make it suitable for your needs. All the ideas are there already and its just a matter of finding the write article with the topic or subject you need.

This is probably the easiest way to write articles. You don't need to scour around the library or the internet for hours for information and start an article from scratch. For webmasters who are looking for articles to fill their site and to generate a high ranking for their website in search engine results, they can just modify the article by infusing keywords and keyword phrases related to their site.

A webmaster or website operator do not risk any chance of getting sued for copyright infringement because they are public domain, once again meaning that anybody can use it. Writing articles by using public domain wont require as much work as writing one from scratch would. You save a lot of time also.

One good factor in using public domain articles for your site or for any project is that you save a lot of money. You dismiss the need to hire experienced and seasoned writers that some website operators use to write their articles. While a single five hundred worded article would only set you down 10 to 15 dollars, this cost will drastically increase when you need hundreds of articles to fill the needs of your site.

For those who needs articles to generate newsletters or an e-zine, public domain articles will be very beneficial. You do not need to count on your contributors or pay writers to write down articles for your newsletter or e-zine. You can fill all the pages without any cost or the worry of being sued and sought after by the writers. You can simply copy the articles and place them on your newsletter and e-zine.

Public domain articles are a virtual untapped resource that many people fail to realize the true value. The power of articles, keywords and keyword phrases have been deemed invaluable these past few years for many internet based businesses and sites that want to rank high in search engine results.

The number of article and content writers have grown significantly due to the rise in the demand for articles. As newer and newer topics and subjects have arisen, there are many demands for new articles to be written. An industry has been formed and this is a worldwide demand.

SEO Ghostwriting for Online Publishers

Submitted by: Craig

With the expansion of third-party monetization models, many small businesses can enter markets online, without the same level of start-up capital that would be needed offline. This has made the demand for ghostwriters explode.

Ghostwriting for online publishers is somewhat different from offline mediums for a number of reasons. Many offline ghostwriters find that they are not fully qualified to write for web-based publications. With the expansion of third-party monetization models, many small businesses can enter markets online, without the same level of start-up capital that would be needed offline. This has made the demand for ghostwriters explode.

Now many publishers are moving online, and need their writers to develop skills and understand search engine ranking factors, otherwise known as SEO (search engine optimization).

So what does a ghostwriter need to know about search engine optimization? Information architecture is one factor that is effected by search engine optimization, as well as internal linking structure. A writer needs to understand the importance of anchor text, link depth, and online usability which are all prominent factors.

When writing online ghostwriters will learn about the requirements of writing in a manner that will act as link bait. This is the online equivalent of public relations, where writers will increase their clients search engine rankings by providing a stimulus for other websites to link to their clients.

Ghostwriters are often somewhat aggrieved when asked to sacrifice the quality of their copy for the benefit of search engines. This has lead to much debate amongst the writing industry, however much of this has been stimulated by the apparent ignorance of most.

As search engine algorithms have evolved, it is no loner nessesary for a writer to pump their copy full of keywords; it is more likely to have a negative effect on search engine positioning, than a positive one. Some ghostwriters have edited their writing style to allow for 3-5% of words in their copy to contain the keywords they wish to promote. This is not needed, but they should certainly appear at least once on the page if you wish to be ranked for them.

Web ghostwriting also involves ensuring that your clients have realistic ideas of what they can gain through using your services. Make sure they are aware that link building is the only way that they will be able to gain real exposure through search engines in competitive online markets. Your copy will only help to supplement their cohesive campaign. Always remember that providing quality content is a ghost writers main concern, and search engine factors should not over-ride this.

Ghoswriting for the web is also somewhat different in the less formal nature that a ghostwriter will be expected to take. Short sentences and paragraphs, as well as bolded words and sub-headings make web ghostwriting more like tabloid journalism than anything else. This is what readers require online, so ghostwriters must learn to adjust.

To learn about web/seo ghost writing it is recommended that you start reading up on search engine algorithms and positioning factors. Ensure that you know what you are talking about when an SEO agency gets on the phone looking for your services. Quality content and readability will always be the differentiating factor in your writing, but it is still necessary that you keep your skills up-to-date.

The Secret To Truly Effective Free Advertising

The Secret To Truly Effective Free Advertising

Submitted by: Anthony

So you're at that stage where you're trying to get your website known. You look at all the obvious ways: paid-search listing from the search engines, paying for high page rank backlinks from established sites, paying to put ads on other websites, and paying to be included in Yahoo's directory (hefty price on this one). There are many more possibilities, but those are the main ones most webmasters look at first on the marketing side.

So it appears you need a big buget to get known, unless you have a viral type of website (spreads fast by word of mouth).

Well, today I'm going to tell you that's not true. There are many free ways that people overlook, and by far one of the most effective is writing articles.

Seems to easy, doesn't it? Well, sometimes it's the simple things that work the best. The thing is, articles, and especially well-written and informative articles, do spread viral-like. If you're lucky enough to have this happen, it's priceless.

So, the thing you're most likely wondering now is what exactly writing articles entails and how to do it.

TOPIC

This is an easy one. The topic should be the same topic as either your website or the part of your website that you are sending them to in the resource links (more on this later). I've seen this many times where the topic may be about cars, but the link is to the person's website that might be about soap or something dissimilar.

SIZE

The length of the article generally should be more than 500 words. When you get on a roll, this is actually a piece of cake. Many article directories, blogs, etc, set the lower limit of 500 words so staying above it generally will give you a wider area of exposure.

RESOURCE SECTION

You as the writer add on a paragraph at the end that has up to 3 links of your choosing. These are the links you'll see everywhere you article is propagated to. Most article directories prefer these restrictions of links to the resource as a courtesy for those who host your articles, so following this method will ensure your article gets the most exposure possible.

SPELLCHECKING

This should go without saying, but spellchecking is extremely easy in recent times, and avoid spelling errors will present your much better and more professionally to your readers, adding to your credibility.

Now, you need to find article directories to submit your articles to, or an article submission service that does this on your behalf. If you're saving money, going right to the article directories ensures the quickest and cheapest (free) method of getting your article out there. You are only spending your time, and you are establishing yourself on the internet as an expert and the place to go on the topic you choose. Write more articles, and it only gets better. You will see the results rival any advertising method and the effect of an article can last for months after you write it, creating a snowball-like effect.

Making Money With Free Articles - What Experience Do I Need?

Making Money With Free Articles - What Experience Do I Need?

Submitted by: Pino

When you are trying to make money with articles, the beauty of it is that you don't really need previous career related experience and that you can learn the ropes as you go. That being said, there are some skills that you will need to teach yourself or pick up along the way to make your sites successful. You can't go in not knowing anything, not learning anything, and still expect to make a good income (or any income at all).

First, you will need to know how to pick out the correct articles to make your sites successful. There are many types of content, from free content to high dollar content, and each comes with its own advantages and disadvantages (although high dollar content is more likely to give you a successful site in the end).

Second, you will need to know how to choose keywords that can help you get a good amount of traffic, without being too competitive to get on the first or second page. If you choose highly competitive keywords that are used by large, mammoth website, you are likely to never get up to those much needed first two pages.

Third, you will need to know how to optimize your websites for various search engines. Search engine optimization skills will allow you to get high rankings for your chosen niche keywords, which will help to get visitors and make profit.

Fourth, if you opt for a large website that you will focus most of your internet marketing career on, you will also need to know how to market your website to your intended audience through paid banner ads and text links. If you prefer very small 2-5 page niche sites, then promoting all of them this way will not be cost effective and will eat up more profits than it is worth.

If you can capture some of these skills and attack them aggressively during your first few small websites or the first few months of a larger website, then you will eventually become an expert. Since you can learn the ropes first hand on your own, the only thing that you will need to do before you begin your new career is to read up on how to get started (maybe purchase an internet marketing e-book or two) and make sure that you have the funds available to start a small site.

Important When Making Money with Articles

Important When Making Money with Articles

Submitted by: Pino

Keyword density and placement are important parts of optimizing your articles for search engines. Search engine spiders scan a page in a way that makes it important to place your keywords where they will be detected and recognized as a keyword, so that your article will come up when someone searches for that keyword.

What is a Keyword?

A keyword is a word that is going to be placed in your article several times, not just once as that would make every word a keyword. When a spider sees that you have a word placed several times in an article, it will determine that your page may be useful to users that search for such a keyword.

Over Optimizing Your Articles

It is important to note that there is also such a thing as over optimizing your articles for particular words, this is known as 'keyword stuffing'. When you stuff keywords in an article a spider will detect that you are trying to trick it into placing your article high in the search engine results for that word, and will instead penalize your site and your page for doing such. This may even affect the rankings of your other pages or get your site blacklisted from a particular search engine if you are found keyword stuffing too many times.

What is Keyword Density?

Keyword density is how many times your keyword is placed in your article. Most use a percentage to determine how many times they will put a keyword in an article. For instance, if you have a 500 word article and want to achieve a keyword density of 5%, then you will need to have the keyword in your article exactly 25 times. You can find hundreds of resources and guides recommending one keyword density over another and the reasons behind the logic, however, in the end you will have to determine which density is more profitable for your articles. Each webmaster as their own density that they like to achieve based on past results. As long as you don't over optimize and you are making sufficient profit from your rankings, then you can choose whatever keyword density you like.

The Right Density

No matter what exact density you choose, it is important to place keywords so that there are more at the beginning and end to produce an hour glass effect. Having the right keyword density in your article makes it more likely that you will make money off of that article because it will rise in the search engine results and be seen by more people.

The 7 Simple Secrets to Affiliate Internet Marketing

The 7 Simple Secrets to Affiliate Internet Marketing

by Emmanuel Aubrey

Everybody and there mom literally are starting to get on-line now if it's not to check there myspace it's to go buy that knock off designer purse on eBay. So you want to know how you can get them to come to your website or click you ad. Well your going to get everything you need to know to get started with these seven secrets of super affiliates.

Secret number 1
If you disagree with this first secret than you might as well stop reading. The first secret is the secret the law of attraction, to keep it simple (If you want more information check it out on google) keep a positive mind set, know what outcome you want and expect that, feel what it's going to feel like when those commission chechs start coming in and imagine it. If you have to print of the page that shows your commissions and write in the amount you want to see every month do it. Just feel it.

Secret number 2
OK now were on to all the technical stuff. All Super Affiliates know you have to have a good product but not only a good product but one that sells. If the owner of the product sales page isn't converting viewer's into buyers than you sending your traffic isn't going to do much either. You can always pre-sell the product but usually that means you have tested the product first hand. Check the stats for the product if possible and see if it's a good product.

Secret number 3
Now once you have a good product you need to make a landing page where you will send visitors to. Important note in most cases it is not good to shove the product down there throat as soon as they get to your landing page give them more information on the topic and passively but yet aggressively (you have to find the happy medium) guide them to the product, give them a plan of action that includes the product.

By the way if you choose to send the traffic directly to the merchant you lose out on repeat buyers, keeping track of your stats and so much more.

OK so you found a product and made your landing page now you need veiwer's or traffic.

Secret number 4
Traffic! Yes this is one of the most important ingredients in fact without traffic there are no commissions. There are a few major traffic sources writing articles, pay per click, joint ventures, search engine optimization, and a few more. Once you get the traffic the next most important part is converting that traffic.

Secret number 5
Converting traffic, if you send your prospects to your landing page you have to give them a reason to buy your product. Try giving them reasons like why the product will make there life better, try to focus on how the product or service is going to benefit them. Most people love when you break everything down for them into a plan so make a plan that will benefit them by using your product. Show them the difference between doing it with and without it. Now your making some money your one of 90% but there are a few more things you need.

Secret number 6
Research, there are so many things you could look at and tweaking all of them could have a huge impact on you business but one of the main things to research is keywords, keywords are what the Internet works on keywords and links basically these are the two ways everyone finds what the want.

Secret number 7
Repeat, yes that's it find another product and repeat it all over, it will get easier every time.

Now you know the seven secrets go forth and multiple you affiliate income so you can focus on the more important parts of life. Stop thinking about it and just do it but make sure you can feel it first.

No One Reads Your Website

No One Reads Your Website
by Anthony Santen

Have you ever written an article? Marketing material maybe?
Do you know the 3 most basic steps of marketing?
Attraction, Conversion and Consumption

Attraction
Well, writing for the Internet is unique unto itself. Web Copy, its called. Before you start writing, you must be sure you are writing for the right audience, and your article speaks to the frame-of-mind they are in at the time they read your words.

You have to know why people have chosen to be on-line, what they're looking for and how you can effectively communicate a message to them. Unlike magazines, radio or printed medium, you will find that copywriting for the Internet presents both difficult challenges and unique strengths. After you learn how to circumvent those challenges and reinforce the strengths of selling over the Internet, you'll see how powerful Internet Marketing can be, and how your web site enhances your business, both in image as in income.

As you prepare to write web copy, keep in mind that when people head for the Internet, they switch gears. Suddenly, they find themselves sitting at their computer screen overlooking a sea of information, opinions, products and services. In their minds, the only possible way to efficiently locate what they're looking for is to speed up the searching process. They don't click very deep into the search engine results pages and they don't give websites very long to prove they have what the visitors want.

For you, that means you have less time and (screen) space, on your web site, to grab and you're your visitors' attention. People might only read the first two or three sentences of your website before they quickly pass judgment on the site and either click away or read two more sentences before repeating the process again.

TIP: When you're writing web copy, put your most powerful message first.

Your copywriting must be full of real and useful information. It has to really engage your visitors. Simply put, the longer they stay, the more likely they will be to engage your services or purchase your products. Also, the more likely they are to view your information as authoritative, thus even when they 'click away' they will continue comparing other sites to yours (and often come back to the most informative, authoritative site at a later date). Eye-catching, effective web copy comes in the form of effective font use, personal questions, visual examples, and REAL facts. Beyond being eye-catching, though, your writing needs to quickly move to step 2: Conversion.

Conversion
Pull the reader in. Engage them. Show them you understand their problem. Don't skip this stage and go straight to the Consumption, as you will lose your most eager customer before they're ready to buy. One great way to do this is by making a promise. A promise is easy, but you know as I do, too many companies throw around promises. For your web marketing, make a promise you know your visitors want right now. It might be a money-saving tip, a safety tip or a way to make some immediate improvement.

By all means provide part of your service up front. The key is to remember that you must deliver on that first promise immediately. If you don't, your credibility is lost immediately along with the empty promise you made. On the Internet, consumers have come to expect to get ripped off.
People combat the seemingly large potential for scams by distrusting every web site at least in the beginning. But when you make a promise that matters to them right now and you deliver on that promise right now you'll have separated yourself from at least 60% of all other websites out there. You'll have created a little Internet Gold: Trust. That's when it's time to talk about your product or service. When you pass the first credibility test, your sale is still not guaranteed, but you will be able to proceed to step 3. Consumption.

TIP: Don't make general promises; make a realistic promise, which you will and can immediately fulfil.

The Internet is a (strange and) unique medium and you have to treat it that way if you want to write effective web copy. Grab their attention quickly. Draw them in by making an immediately relevant promise, and then deliver on that promise in the next paragraph. The result is trust. Once you've established some credibility with your visitors and addressed their immediate craving you can convert them into consumers: Customers.

Think about your web copy. It isn't simply a copy of your brochure or price list. You'll see how your sales improve when you approach the writing of your web copy with the thoughtfulness and attention your business deserves.

More Traffic Does Not Equal More Sales

More Traffic Does Not Equal More Sales by Alex Nghiem

If you were to ask 100 (Internet) marketers what is the #1 thing they want, the answer almost always boils down to: More traffic!

Sorry, folks, but this is a great example of asking the wrong question and chasing the wrong thing! What I am about to say is almost the equivalent is skewering a sacred cow, so I will proceed cautiously.

Getting more traffic is not necessarily the end-all-be-all solution. For many marketers, getting more traffic is not the problem. Getting more sales is the problem. What do I mean by this?

Closing a sale involves many steps but for the sake of this conversation, let's focus on 2 key ones: generating traffic and conversion. Way too many marketers focus on traffic generation and not enough on traffic conversion (that is, converting the lead to a sale). This is especially important when selling high end products because many times, generating a lead is very expensive (because of the industries I am in, I sometimes pay more than $3 with pay per click advertising and have to do very expensive direct mail so I can quickly go broke by generating more traffic, if I am not careful).

To be honest, almost anybody can generate more traffic. The real question is: once you have the traffic, do you know how to convert that lead to a sale? In many cases, it may be the sales process that's broken. Let me give you an extreme example (this is real and therefore all the more tragic). I have clients that run expensive newspaper ads, but are then too busy to answer the phone but are also too cheap to send the calls to an answering service. This is an industry where a sale can generate tens of thousands of dollars. Yet, when I ask them what the problem is, they tell me: "We need more leads!" So, they continue to throw more money on lead generation and not fix the conversion problem.

This happens in more businesses than you may think.

In real estate investing for example, you can have only a moderate-sized list but make good money because the average transaction size in these industries is large enough for to spend that type of investment in the lead generation.

Now that you know this, really think through your problem: is it lack of traffic or lack of conversion? In many cases, it may be the conversion process that's the problem.
